Spring Summer 2022

The Valiente Collection is inspired by the creative city of Barcelona. The city is interwoven with iconic works of the architect Antonio Gaudi, described as the ‘sui genre’ architectural style, which is a latin term, used to describe ‘artistic work that goes beyond genre conventional boundaries’. This inspired Róisín to be bold and brave with this collection, giving it the title ‘Valiente’, which is Spanish for brave.

Neutral tones in the extreme silhouettes are the back drop for flashes of hot pink and orange, giving it that fresh vibrant feel. Fuchsia represents liveliness, self assurance and confidence - like how the bright flower stands out among the more earthy tones of the garden. Pops of fuchsia and orange give the collection that energetic summer sunrise vibe in Barcelona, while also resembling how Gaudi’s work stands out within the beautiful streetscapes of Barcelona.
